Nautical project support on inland waterways can now be found directly through Nauticworx, where Aquastream BV, an independent Dutch specialist in shipping guidance and nautical consultancy, has officially joined the platform. Aquastream operates exclusively on inland waterways, not at sea. For vessel owners, charterers, and brokers working on infrastructure and nautical projects, this addition brings practical, hands-on expertise to the network.
Who Is Aquastream BV?
Aquastream BV is an independent specialist in shipping guidance and nautical consultancy. The company works closely with waterway managers, contractors, and government authorities to keep shipping traffic safe and smooth during infrastructure and nautical projects. All work takes place on inland waterways; Aquastream does not operate at sea.
What sets them apart:
- Experience with complex traffic situations and large-scale works
- Their own vessel, the “Springer”, fully equipped for escort duties and classed for inland navigation (not for seagoing operations)
- A people-oriented approach: personal contact, short lines of communication, and solution-oriented thinking
- A sustainable and professional mindset: investment in green technology and safety
Why This Partnership Matters
Aquastream joining Nauticworx isn’t simply an addition to the platform. It adds specialist nautical knowledge for inland waterway projects to the marine project ecosystem.
Expertise Where Projects Get Complicated
Large-scale works and busy waterways demand careful planning. Aquastream’s experience with complex traffic situations means projects can keep moving while shipping traffic stays safe.
A Vessel Ready for Escort Duties
With the fully equipped “Springer”, Aquastream can support projects directly on the water, rather than only advising from land. The “Springer” is classed for inland navigation and operates on inland waterways only, not at sea.
Direct, Personal Collaboration
Short lines of communication and a solution-oriented attitude mean clients work with people who think along with them from the first conversation to the final delivery.
A Shared Standard of Professionalism
Both Aquastream and Nauticworx are committed to professional, reliable cooperation and to solutions that work for everyone involved. Users can expect:
- Access to specialist nautical consultancy within a growing network
- Safer, smoother handling of projects that affect shipping traffic
- A more efficient, trustworthy route from project need to practical solution
